Seven-year-old Kent is having a lot of trouble in his school in Uganda. He is failing all his exams and is constantly picked on by the other children. The only one who believes in him is his best friend Kate. One day they escape from school and go on a magical journey that leads Kent to the discovery of his dyslexia and his secret creative talent as a pianist.
