In August 2012, mineworkers in one of South Africa’s largest platinum mines began a wildcat strike for better wages. Six days later, the police used live ammunition to brutally suppress the strike, killing 34 and injuring many more. This atrocity, perpetrated by the combined forces of the mining company, Lonmin, the ANC government, and the National Union of Mineworkers in post-apartheid South Africa, sent shock waves throughout South Africa and around the globe. Winner of the Best Documentary Film Award at FESPACO 2015 (the Pan-African Film Festival in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso).

In English, Xhosa, Zulu, Fanagalo with English subtitles.
